KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir received Head of National Development Company (NDC) Abdurrahman Attash and his accompanying delegation at the Sapidar Palace, a statement from his office said Wednesday. At the meeting, Attash briefed the deputy PM on the ongoing project for the construction of Quesh Tepa irrigation canal and called it the most important project in the country. “The project was going on well and with good management and will be completed ahead of the appointed schedule,” Attash assured as quoted by the statement. The statement went on as saying that the country would soon have agricultural products and exports to the neighboring countries.
According to the source, head of the National Development Company (NDC) was planned to prepare an agricultural bank and agricultural revolving budget in the near future.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister commended the work and activities of the National Development Company and said that after rising to power, the Islamic Emirate is planned to help the country stand on its feet economically. Besides giving some recommendations, the deputy Prime Minister assured Attash of proving any cooperation with the company.
