Women’s rights: a tool for colonizers to interfere in Afghanistan

The U.S. Department of State held a meeting titled “Empowering Afghan Women Economically” on February 27 of the current year. The meeting was considered significant as it was attended by Antony Blinkin, Rina Amiri, Tom West and other officials from the U.S. Department of State. The officials of three different institutions also attended the meeting: officials of the U.S. Ministry of State, private and international NGOs and civil society organizations. During more than two years of the current government rule, after a humiliating withdrawal from Afghanistan, America is shaping tools and putting required pressures based on informal or indirect interaction to achieve its interest in Afghanistan. As it is evident, America is making an effort to influence Afghanistan through different channels, including women’s issues. During his speech at the meeting, Antony Blinken clearly mentioned this issue, saying, “Our interest is ensured through empowering Afghan women economically.” The West and America’s support of the women’s situation in Afghanistan is akin to the tear of a crocodile, indicating hostility and enmity. It shouldn’t be forgotten that the women in the Western idea are nothing but good in politics and trade, which is used to ensure the filthy interest of America and Western nations. America is seeking to separate Afghan women from supporting the government, and it knows well that, considering the current situation of Afghan women in Afghanistan, how to penetrate the significant spectrum of the Afghan community, using it to exert pressure on the ruling government and weaken it gradually. It should be considered that such meetings and measures taken by America under the guise of “empowering Afghan women economically” are not and will not be aimed to improve the Afghan situation economically.” These programs are like a net that traps some women to expect economic and livelihood improvements from this Western colonizer and fall into the enticing trap of this modA drive for planting saplings has been kicked off by the country’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Kabul’s Badam Bagh. Greenery Department director at the Kabul Municipality, Mawlavi Abdul Wakil Mutawakil, said they planted 200,000 saplings during the first year of the rule of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA). “The municipality plans to plant two million tree saplings in the city and 600,000 saplings are ready for plantation,” Mutawakil added, describing the step as ‘unprecedented’. He added all tree saplings were produced at the municipality’s own nurseries and they were not purchased from private nurseries. It is worth mentioning that similar drives and campaigns for planting saplings have been also kicked in various provinces of the country. In Islam, planting a tree can be a very virtuous act.
