We would not be apathetic before upcoming changes, Dr. Abdullah

KABUL: In a consultative meeting held at the Sapidar Palace, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and hundreds of elders, jihadi figures, youth and culturists from different provinces exchanged views on political and security situation and upcoming presidential elections, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
At the outset, a number of influential figures and elders spoke and lauded the CE’s national stances over the last years, asking him to clarify his views on upcoming changes particularly the presidential elections, the agency further said.
Thanking the participants for their support, CE Abdullah said we would not remain indifferent before people’s destiny and Afghanistan’s future.
Pointing at the country’s sensitive political and security situation, Dr. Abdullah added that decisions on ahead changes would be taken in consultation with different segments of people.
He stressed that Afghan people’s interests have always been considered in his decisions, adding nothing would be done in upcoming issues to be in contrary with national interests.
