Visit of religious scholars to Afghanistan

KABUL: A group of religious scholars from Egypt, Sudan and Palestine in their visit to Kabul have met with officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) in Kabul.
During their stay in Kabul, the religious scholars assessed the current situation of Afghanistan as good and congratulated the victory of the Afghan nation against foreign invaders.
In separate meetings with the religious scholars, the Islamic Emirate officials asked the delegation to show a true picture of Afghanistan to the world Muslims. The delegation also met with acting the Minister of Information and Culture Mawlawi Khairullah Khairkhwa.
The delegation of the religious scholars have also met with acting Minister of Higher Education and Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar.
According to the deputy prime minister’s office, Beradar welcomed the delegation and said: “We appreciate your visiting and learning about the situation of the Afghan people; Muslims around the world especially scholars have always sympathized with their Afghan brothers, and we are grateful for that.”

In the meeting, the leader of the delegation, Shaikh Mohammad Al-Saghir praised the Afghan people for their victory and called the jihad done by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan against the United States and NATO as an incredible triumph. In a news conference, the delegation asked the U.S. for releasing Afghanistan’s foreign assets that have been blocked.
