Various weapons, ammunition recovered during clean-up operation, Mujahid

KABUL: A huge quantity of various weapons and ammunition
was recovered during a series of clean-up operation in the capital
Kabul, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said Sunday.
In a news conference, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Deputy to the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC), Zabihullah Mujahid said that a joint security forces team, in their clean-up operations conducted in various parts of Kabul, managed to recover a large number of weapons and am-munitions. He rejected as baseless the allegations of destruction of educational documents and passports during the clean-up operation, and said all educational and higher educational documents of the people would be safe during the process.
He said that the operation has been launched for maintaining better security for the Kabul citizens, particularly national traders and investors in the country, adding the joint security organs would continue the operation with care in Kabul and the nearby provinces. He said that the joint security organs were collecting all those weapons and ammunitions have been kept at homes during
the recent changes.
Pointing to Afghan girls who have received education and higher education scholarships from other countries, Mujahid said that
the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would find a way to help them go
abroad for their education. He asserted that Afghans leaving for other countries with no reason would also be stopped as most of them living in foreign countries face critical condition“ So, therefore, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan did not want them to experience such conditions abroad.” He also said that Afghan students and nationals based in Ukraine have been reached out.
Pointing to the shortage of Afghan lecturers in the country’s universities, the Islamic Emirate spokesman said that efforts were underway to address the problems of lacking Afghan lecturers and teachers in the country’s universities.
This is to be noted that all universities have already been reopened for both male and female students. The Kabul Times
