Uzbekistan aids for flood victims arrive in Balkh

KABUL: A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said Tuesday that aids provided by Uzbekistan has arrived in the Balkh province and handed over to the related officials. According to the deputy spokesman of the ministry, Hafiz Ahmad Zia Takal, who said in his X account, the shipment of Uzbek aids reaching to 200 tons including flour, rice, cooking oil and non-edible items such as water tanks, tents and other essentials, has arrived in Hairatan ground port of Mazar-e-Sharif province. Officials of the Islamic Emir ate, including the Deputy Minister of Foreign for Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Rahmatul-Haq Fuzail took over the aids provided by the Uzbek officials. In the ceremony, according to the deputy spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, in addition to the deputy foreign minister, other related officials such as the Balkh provincial governor, head of the Natural Disaster Management Authority, Afghan consulate based in Termez and a number of other officials have also attended.
