UNAMA report on human rights in Afghanistan inaccurate, Mujahid

KABUL: The report from the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) on the human right violation in the country, is not true, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid said the other day.
“There is no arbitrarily killing or arrest in the country,” said Mujahid blaming the organization for the release of inaccurate report.
“If someone kills or arrests arbitrarily, the one is considered criminal and will face the Sharia law,” said Mujahid in his official Twitter account.
He said the UNAMA report on this matter is not true, but a propaganda.
“We assure the entire people of Afghanistan that they can enjoy the Amir-ul-Mumineen decree on amnesty in their country,” said Mujahid.
He asked anyone claiming human rights violation in Afghanistan to prove their claim so that to be assessed and bring the violators to justice.
The UNAMA recently released a report with regards to the protection of civilians, extrajudicial killings, torture and ill-treatment, arbitrary arrests and detentions, the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan, fundamental freedoms and the situation in places of detention, a report rejected by the Islamic Emirate authorities.
