U.S. forces killed 51,000 civilians in Afghanistan: China

KABUL: The spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry claimed that U.S. forces have killed 51,000 civilians during its failed war in Afghanistan.
Zhao Lijian, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, announced on the one-year anniversary of the defeat of the United States in Afghanistan that at least 51,000 civilians have been killed during the presence of foreign forces led by the United States in the country.
On the 31th August 2021, the United States ended the twenty-year occupation of this country by expelling its last troops from Afghanistan, a war in which a large number of Afghans, who constituted a significant part of the physical force of this country, lost their lives.
Last week, in a message on the advent of the anniversary of the departure of the last American soldier from Afghanistan, the Russian Embassy in Washington emphasized that the war in Afghanistan has ended with the defeat of the United States and has brought nothing but misery and the collapse of false hopes for the people of Afghanistan.
Now that the U.S. has left Afghanistan, it should not forget the ugly consequences of this war, which is the product of the aggression and occupation of that country.
It is better to focus on the reconstruction of Afghanistan, instead of holding grudges against the people of this country, the U.S. should fulfill its moral obligation towards Afghanistan, Lijian added. The Kabul Times
