A number of Turkish ulama members during their recent visit to Afghanistan have met with the officials of the Islamic Emirate (IEA) in Kabul. In their meetings with the IEA officials, the Turkish ulama have pledged to convey to the Islamic World the existing opportunities in Afghanistan.
In a meeting with the Turkish ulama members, the IEA authorities have briefed them with overall improved security situation, proper political environment, social and economic development, asking the Turkish ulama to share the messages and positive developments of Afghanistan with the Islamic world.
In return, the Islamic ulama members of Turkey have pledged to convey the message about the proper security and existing opportunities to the Muslim World. Such meetings of the Turkish ulama members with the IEA authorities are considered as significant as they can pave the way for Islamic countries to recognize the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Afghan analysts also believe that recent meetings of the Turkey ulama members with high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate can help boost relations between Afghanistan and the Islamic world.
“After long years, a strong government has been established in Afghanistan, where the government is ruling on 100 percent soil of the country,” said Nasir Hijran, a university lecturer.
He said that it was time that the world particularly the Islamic countries should take a step further to recognize the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan as a legal government of the country.
It is worth mentioning that the Turkish ulama members during their visit to Kabul have met with high-ranking officials of the IEA including acting Minister of Interior, Sarajuddin Haqqani and foreign affairs minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
