KABUL: Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) received Turkish Ambassador Cihad Erginay and Red Cross organization representatives, Bakhtar News
Agency reported the other day. The ambassador said that the humanitarian aids with the people of Afghanistan from Turkey will keep continuing. A total of 750 tons of humanitarian assistance was collected on demand of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoðan, the ambassador said.
According to the agency, the aid which includes foodstuff, medicines and other primary items, has arrived in Kabul through the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan. The aids will be distributed in 34 provinces of the country through the International Red Cross Society.
Meanwhile, the deputy prime minister thanked Turkish government and people for their humanitarian assistance and assured them of full cooperation from the IEA for transparency in the distribution process, the agency added.
Mawlavi Hanafi said that the overall security in Afghanistan provides better opportunities for investments. Therefore, he added that the IEA urges Turkish investors to invest in different sectors in Afghanistan.
