Transferring Afghan currency to foreign country not acceptable, DAB

KABUL: The country’s Central Bank – Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) blamed the U.S. for transferring part of the country’s national assets to Switzerland and building an administration there, injustice for the people of Afghanistan, a statement from the bank said the other day.
“Asset reservoirs of the country’s Central Bank is the property of the Afghans and is used for strengthening of financial system of the country and facilitating business with the world,” said the bank in the statement.
The statement doubted if there was a transparent and valid system and said all these are an injustice to the people of Afghanistan.
