Trade, industry play key role in development of the country, Mujahid

KABUL: Zabihullah Mujahid, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and Nuruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, opened the “International Exhibition of Strengthening the Afghan Economy” in Kabul yesterday.
In the opening ceremony attended by Mawlavi Saaduddin Saeed, deputy finance and administration minister of information and culture and other high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Speaking in the ceremony, acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Nuruddin Azizi, appreciated the businessmen who have invested in various sectors and asked the Afghan businessmen and investors who are abroad to return home and invest in the country.
He called, holding such exhibitions as a positive step toward development of domestic products and expressed his led ministry’s support for the good plans of industrialists, businessmen and investors. “Any efforts to improve the country’s economic situation is appreciable,” said, Inamullah Samangani head of the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) adding that the Islamic Emirate was stepping up towards economic self-sufficiency and there is a need to work in line with economic growth to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Also, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, assured the attention of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in line with the growth of economy in the country and said that trade and industry play key role in the economic growth of the country.
He assured of full support of the Islamic Emirate for the development of trade and industry in the country.
It should be mentioned that this exhibition is open for two more days in Qasr-e- Naween Hall located in Kabul Airport road, Charah-e-Lab-e-jar.
