Time for Muslim nations to take collective approach against terrorists

It is not the first time that mosques and other holy places are targeted by terrorist groups, and the black-hearted enemies of Islam and Afghanistan have previously killed and injured thousands of pious and faithful people during their prayers time in the in the country.
They carried out such brutal attacks with the aim of creating a rift between Afghan ethnics that have long lived in their common home, defended it against the foreign conspiracies and invasion and have shared grieves and happiness with each other.
Inaugurating Shah Du Shamshira mosque in Kabul on Friday, President Ghani condemned Thursday’s terrorist attack on worshipers of the Haji Bakhshi Grand Masjid in Shakardara district and expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of the Imam and the worshipers, saying that today it was time for the Islamic world to line up against terrorist groups and stand united, as according to him attacking Masjids and Mullahs was clear violation of all Islamic, human and humanitarian principles.
Although Afghans and the Muslim nations around the world urged Taliban for ceasefire at least during the holy month, but there was regular news of violence during Ramadan across the country. However, according to Islamic teaching Ramadan is a month of love and peace, but the militants made it a month of violence and bloodshed for innocent Afghan civilians.
Meanwhile there are reports that Talian being prepared for conducting militancy campaign after Eid ceasefire. This shows that the group doesn’t believe on peace and harmony, rather fueling insurgency so that to push the country towards devastation.
It’s very surprising to see that Taliban and other militant groupings claim that they are fighting for the holy religion and reiterating their commitment to Islamic values, however they target school children, women, mosque and other peaceful civilians which is completely in paradox.
The militants have been sparing no effort to destroy public infrastructures, target government employees and soldiers, beating people for this and that in their held territories as well as seeking extortions along the highways.
Indeed, the holy religion of Islam has always emphasized on peace and harmony not only with Muslim followers, but even with other believers of the religion. Therefore, Taliban’s war is totally against the Islamic teachings, since they are making peace with non-Muslims, but killing their Muslim compatriots.
The continued terror attacks by Taliban and other terror groups in the most sacred month in Ramadan, as well as, during the Eid days have once again showed the fact that Islam and human life have no value to these barbarians. Thus, they are more committed to regional intelligence network rather than Islam.
The Afghan people, government and its international partners, mainly the Islamic world need much to do to eradicate terrorism. Since foreign troops are departing from the country, the Taliban’s ties with other terror groups, including Al-Qaeda shouldn’t be ignored. Such ties have once threatened the US and other countries security and that would be boosted if they are given the chance to widespread their militancy.
Islamic world’s efforts shouldn’t be limited to only condemnation, but much more should be taken to bolster cooperation in war on terror and against those killing Muslims, in Afghansitan, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and other Muslim countries. Muslim communities’ cooperation crucial to prevent misusing of the holy religion by the extremist and terrorist groupings.
