Thousands of Afghan refugees deported from Iran, Pakistan

KABUL: A total of 11,623 Afghan refugees have been deported from Pakistan and Iran in the past week, the Ministry of Refugee and Repatriation sai According to the statement, 938 families including 4,742 people have been deported and returned to the country via Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings within the past week. Also, in the same period, 6,831 people returned from Iran through Islam Qala port in western Herat province. The expelling process of Afghan nationals living in the neighboring countries has been continued and millions of Afghan immigrants have forcibly or voluntarily returned to the country so far.
