Thirty-one school buildings to be reconstructed in Panjshir

KABUL: The Governor of Panjshir province Hafiz Mohammad Hakim Agha, in a statement said on Monday that 31 school buildings worth 9.5 million Afghani (some 133,638 U.S. dollars) will be renovated in the current solar year across the province.Hakim Agha stated that 53 school buildings worth 10 million Afghani have been restored with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and its partner donor agencies in the previous solar year across the province. “In addition to the restoration of the school buildings, dozens of schools have been provided with the necessary equipment,” he said. Currently, 26,000 students are continuing their education in 128 schools in the province. The Kabul Times
