Suitable environment provided for religious, modern education nationwide, Mawlavi Kabir

KABUL: Addressing the educational year inauguration ceremony of Jamai Riyadh-ulUloum in the capital Kabul, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said a suitable environment has been paved for both religious and modern education in the country. Mawlavi Kabir added that the Islamic Emirate is not against modern education, and contrary to the propaganda of biased people, it has provided more ground for religious and modern education than ever before, Arg said in a statement the other day. “Once upon a time the inauguration of religious schools was considered a crime but after the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate a suitable ground has been paved and scholars are confidently teaching at Madrasas,” the statement quoted Mawlavi Kabir as saying. Referring to the rumors of some biased individuals, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said that the gap between religious and modern education had ended, as well as due to the sacrifices of students of religious schools the occupation had ended and the Islamic system came to power. The deputy PM said the current system and country were shared by everyone and everyone could work here confidently and nobody should feel strange. Afghanistan has political engagement with a number of countries besides neighbor countries, said Mawlavi Kabir, adding that commercial ports were opened and if the Wakhan port is constructed Afghanistan would become the center of economic activities in the region. The deputy PM according to the statement, went on as saying that the IEA supported its expenditures from internal revenue and nobody dared to betray the public treasury. The Kabul Times
