Spring exhibition of Holy Quran and books launched in Parwan

KABUL: Attending by the Director of Bakhtar News Agency and the Acting Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture Mawlavi Ziaulhaq Haqmal, a two-day spring exhibition of the Holy Quran and books has been launched in the country’s central province of Parwan, the ministry said in a statement the other day. Mawlavi Haqmal said that holding such an exhibition in an academic place is a good opportunity for students and it can build ideas, thoughts and talents, according to the statement said. “The religious sciences are currently growing and developing in Afghanistan and there is no shortage. The master’s and doctoral programs are continuing and the leadership of the Islamic Emirate is trying to provide the field of studying academic and specialized sciences so that Afghanistan becomes a center of science and knowledge in the world,” the statement quoted Haqmal as saying. Meanwhile, a number of participants appreciated the launching of the exhibition and asked the relevant officials to continue such programs across the country. The Kabul Times
