Sound environment for development activities created in Afghanistan, Muttaqi

KABUL: The Acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, during a meeting, with Indrika Ratwatte, the new Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, said that IEA has created a proper environment for humanitarian and develop ment works in the country. Mawlavi Muttaqi congratulated the new mission to Indrika Ratwatte and wished him further success in his future work, the ministry said in a statement Wednesday. Referring to his previous job as the head of the AsiaPacific region within the framework of the UNHCR, Indrika said he also has dealt with the problems of Afghans, especially those who are living in the neighboring countries and will do his best to reduce the challenges facing Afghan refugees in the world countries, according to the statement.
