KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan ordered Monday the burning of the discovered drugs and materials used in drug production to uproot the vicious phenomenon in the country.
Based on decree number 509 of the Supreme Leader Shaikh Mawlavi Hebatullah Akhundzada, the drug dealers and producers will be punished and the seized drugs and the materials used in drug production should be destroyed.
In the decree, a joint board of the ministries of Interior and Public Health and the General Directorate of Intelligence has been tasked to burn the seized drugs and materials and tools used in drug production publicly in the presence of the relevant court.
The supreme leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has recently issued multiple decrees including ban on the cultivation, production and trafficking of norco-drugs in the country.
