Scores of water supply networks rehabilitated, built in Maidan Wardak

MAIDANSHAHR: At least 16 water supply projects worth 37 million Afghani (some 514,613 U.S. dollars), have been constructed and rehabilitated in the country’s central province of Maidan Wardak, the provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department said in a statement the other day. The projects with the financial support of UNICEF, have been constructed and rehabilitated in the Sayedabad, Chak, Jaghato, Narkh, and Behsud districts of the province, the statement said. Director of the provincial Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department Mawlavi Wahidullah Rashid said that 1,512 households, 24 mosques, 4 Madrassas, and 4 schools would benefit from the water supply networks in the said districts of the province.
