Road crash claims 2 lives, injures 37 in Zabul

The director of the provincial public health department Mirwais Afghan said that a bus
veered off the road in the Karizgi area in the Shahr-e-Safa district of the province and
resulted in the death of two people and the injuring of 37 others, according to the statement

QALAT: At least two people have been martyred and 37 others injured as a result of a traffic accident on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the country’s southern province of Zabul, the provincial Public Health Department said in a statement the other day. The director of the provincial public health department Mirwais Afghan said that a bus veered off the road in the Karizgi area in the Shahr-e-Safa district of the province and resulted in the death of two people and the injuring of 37 others, according to the statement. The injured including 26 men and 11 women have been taken to the district hospital for treatment. The recklessness of drivers and fast driving are linked to the increase in traffic accidents in the country. The Kabul Times
