KABUL: Up to 2,000 earthquake affected people would be provide with residential units in the country’s southern province of Paktika and Khost provinces, a local source said the other day.
A township of up to 2,000 residential houses are expected to be soon built for the recent quake affected families in Paktika and Khost province, an official to the Agency for Humanitarian and Development Assistance for Afghanistan (AHDAA), the provincial governor office said in a statement.
The issue to build the township, with the cost of 13 million U.S. dollars, was discussed between the AHDAA in charge and the State Deputy Minister for Disaster Management, according to the statement.
