Registration of vehicles without documents begins

KABUL: Registration of vehicles, without documents, have been started countrywide only for vehicles with right hand, the ministry of finance said in a statement the other day.
The owner of the vehicles will be given a 60 percent discount on fees, according to a statement from the ministry.
“For restoring better security, overcoming criminal activities and to increase the national revenues, the department of revenue of the Ministry of Finance made the plan,” said Ahmad Wali Haqmal, a spokesman for the Ministry of Finance.
There are more than 100,000 unregistered vehicles in the country, according to him.
It should be noted that the aforementioned plan has been approved for the process of registration and production of cars without documents for six months, that only the cars with the legal hand of Afghanistan will be registered in all customs offices by the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance, and after six months, in no way the process would be extended.
