KABUL: The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani, said that no returnees have been left without registration and receiving assistance. Haqqani made the remarks during a meeting with the officials of refugees and repatriation departments of the Panjshir and Faryab provinces of the country, the ministry said in a statement Sunday. Speaking at the meeting, the head of Faryab province’s immigrant affairs, Mullah Saifuddin Jihadi said that hundreds of families from neighboring countries have returned to that province and have received food and non-food aid in cooperation with government institutions and aid agencies, according to the statement. “Our responsibility is to provide services to immigrants and in this regard, no immigrant should be left without cooperation and registration in the immigration offices,” the statement quoted Haqqani as saying.
