Regional connectivity impossible without Afghanistan, Mawlavi Kabir

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, said that regional connectivity and implementation of major projects at the regional level is impossible without Afghanistan. He made the remarks, today, at the graduation ceremony of the Polytechnic University of Kabul students, Arg said in a statement the other day. The graduation ceremony of nearly 1,000 students, was attended by several high-ranking IEA officials and university instructors, the statement said. Considering the need for large regional projects such as TAPI, CASA-1000 and region al connectivity, Mawlavi Kabir said that the Islamic Emirate was strongly committed to implementing the projects, according to the statement. The Islamic Emirate as a committed government gives priority and value to domestic cadres, said Mawlavi Kabir, adding that it is not acceptable that domestic cadres remain unemployed while companies hire foreign workers. Meanwhile, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadim quoting the Islamic Emirate’s Supreme Leader said that he has been instructed to create employment opportunities for fresh graduates. Shaikh Nadim added that Afghanistan was an independent country and Afghans would themselves build their country because the foreigners would not work for the development and reconstruction of our country.
