KABUL: The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MTCA) said Wednesday that radar systems have been operational in the country’s airports and all flights services were going on normally. Afghanistan is a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and mutual cooperation with the neighboring countries, said the ministry in a statement. “All civil and commercial flights are implemented by the ministry,” said the statement. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) finally reached an agreement with Qatar over the management of some of the country’s airports that would help resume flights at the regional and world level.
