KABUL: Budget allocated for the Qush Tepa Irrigation Canal, should be paid in its due time, to help accelerate the construction process, Director of the Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Ahmad Jan told a gathering held by the canal monitoring committee here in Kabul.
The canal construction is expected to irrigate thousands of acres of lands and help the countrymen step up towards self-sufficiency, according to the statement.
The committee has been established to monitor the ongoing canal construction process and duly share its report with the related organ, the statement said.
