PVC pipe-producing factory inaugurated in Parwan

KABUL: A PVC pipe-producing factory worth 200,000 U.S. dollars, in an official ceremony, has been inaugurated in the country’s central province of Parwan, the state-run Bakhar News Agency reported the other day. The factory has been inaugurated in the Siyagird district of the province and provides job opportunities for scores of local people, the agency said. Addressing the ceremony, the Governor of the district, Mawlavi Ghulam Mohammad Jarrah asked the investors to invest in different fields to cooperate in the country’s development and prosperity and provide job opportunities for the people in the country, according to the agency. At the same time, the manager of the factory, Hajji Qand Agha said that the purpose of the construction of the pipe factory is to improve the economy of the people, to increase domestic production, and to provide jobs for the youth in the district.
