Proud of our security forces for peaceful Eid festival

Afghanistan, over the last twenty years, has not experienced a peaceful Eid like what is celebrated this year. Everywhere, in the country, people feared of possible security threats during any occasional events, either Independent Day, Martyrs Week (which is not held anymore), or any other occasions. This year, Eid al-Fitr was held under tight security in the capital and provinces of the country, with the leaders of the Islamic Emirate, high-ranking Islamic Emirate authorities, religious scholars, youths and ordinary people joyfully celebrating the end of Ramadan, which marks the great religious event. During the holy month of Ramadan, the organs concerned tried their best to reduce the prices, particularly, the prices of edible items. Hundreds of grocery shops, cloth markets and other sale centers have been warned either to sell at reasonable prices or would be shut by the municipality officials. Scores of Kabul residents, during brief media interviews, had said they were happy with the new price rule set by the related organs and that this is why the people are pleased with the Islamic system’s laws and regulations. Also, in the provinces, they have been reportedly happy with new rules, set by the Islamic Emirate officials in terms of prices, treatment of the officials with the people and other areas. When they were asked about the difference between the current and the former systems’ behavior and treatment with the people, they would say that they see a big difference in this field. They said the main difference between them is a resolute decision and firm plan when confronting any abnormalities happening in the country, including the cities and other communities. Other religious or traditional events are being/have been held peacefully countrywide. This indicates that the Islamic Emirate is committed to supporting all ethnicities, tribes and religious groups in the country, without any discrimination. Likewise, this year’s Eid al-Fitr has been held with wide security all over the country and some people even toured around the country, with no fear and dread, which they have felt over the past twenty years of the failed regimes. The Islamic system is committed to ensuring the security of the entire tribes with no discrimination and this is the reason, the system is being developed and expanded further than ever. The people have also the heaviest responsibility to cooperate with the security forces by identifying any security incidents or suspicious individuals and sharing reports with the organs concerned, in order to have a secure and peaceful country.
