KABUL: Led by IEA Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, an emergency meeting was held at Arg to urgently respond the earthquake-affected families in Paktika and Khost provinces.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister by offering condolence and sympathy to the affected families approved a grant of 1 billion Afghani as urgent assistance to the earthquake-affected families.
Meanwhile, the IEA Prime Minister instructed all relevant organs to adopt urgent measures
in connection with sending aids as first aid, food, clothes, medicines and other necessary stuffs
to the affected people in the respective areas.
The Prime Minister also tasked the IEA high-ranking delegation to pay visits to the affected areas to offer condolence and sympathy to the victim families.
He also instructed relevant organs to take urgent steps in connection with the treatment of those
wounded and distribution of cash assistance of the approved 1 billion Afghani and all other assistance to the affected families.
