Preservation of historical monuments not only responsibility of a country, needs joint cooperation of all countries, Khairkhwa

KABUL: The Acting Information and Culture Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa met with representatives of the Chinese ‘MCC’ company, the ministry said in a statement Monday. In the meeting, representatives of the company said that they are trying to extract copper from Mes Aynak mine in such a method that the cultural relics re main safe and healthy, asking for necessary cooperation from the ministry in this field, according to the statement. “After the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate, countrywide sure security has been ensured and the safe ground has been provided for domestic and foreign companies to invest in various sectors inside Afghanistan,” the statement quoted representatives of MCC as saying. Assuring the representatives of the company with any necessary cooperation and coordination, Mullah Khairkhwa said that historical sites and their preservation don’t belong only to one country, but their protection needs joint cooperation of all countries, the statement added.
