Positive, constructive relations with world top IEA priority, Muttaqi

KABUL: The Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with a number of scholars, which came from Britain, the ministry said in a statement Saturday. Speaking about the IEA’s major achievements, minister Muttaqi said that after the resumption of power by the Islamic Emirate, countrywide sure security has been ensured and significant economic development has also been made in the country. He also called on the scholars that they should convey the real picture of Afghanistan to the world and their people, according to the statement. “Positive and constructive engagement with the international community was at the top priority of the IEA’s foreign policy,” the statement quoted Muttaqi. Expressing pressure over the re-establishment of the Islamic System in Afghanistan, they [scholars] assured that they will convey the real picture of Afghanistan to the world countries, the statement added.
