Police recover 130 weapons in Zabul

QALAT: Counter-terrorism office of Zabul province have recovered an arm catch and seized 130 various light and heavy weapons in the country’s southern province of Zabul, a statement from the provincial police office said Monday. The seized weapons included 99 pistols, 18 TT kov, 11 AK-47 rifles, one DShK heavy machinegun, which have been seized from the arm smugglers in different parts of the province, the statement quoted Mawlavi Mohammad Younus, head of the provincial counter-terrorism department as saying. A number of individuals have also been arrested in connection with illegally dealing weapons, said the statement. The Kabul Times
