PM Hanafi receives Saudi deputy ambassador

KABUL: Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi met with Saudi Arabia deputy ambassador Badr Ibrahim Majul Al-Otaibah, a statement from his office said the other day.
In the meeting, both sides discussed relations between the two countries, the statement said.
The IEA Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Saudi government for his country’s assistance and cooperation in jihad against the Soviet Union.
Issues related to the transfer of Afghan pilgrims and providing more facilities for them, while staying in Saudi were discussed, according to the statement.
Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Ambassador Al-Otaibah vowed to share Hajj and other issues with his government to address any problems facing them, the statement quoted him.
Both sides, also spoke about strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. The Kabul Times
