GHAZNI: Peach yields eye-catchingly have increased in the country’s central province of Ghazni, the provincial Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Directorate said in a statement Tuesday. “It is expected that the peach yields will be around 1,700 tons in the province, which shows a considerable increase comparing to the previous years,” the statement said. Based on the figures of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, peach orchards have been established on over 100 acres of land in the province, and the harvest of the fruit will be around 1,700 tons in the current solar year.
