Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammad group leader not in Afghanistan, MoF

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has rejected a claim by some media that the elusive Jaish-e-Mohammad group leader has sought asylum in Afghanistan.
In a statement released to media the other day, the country’s ministry of foreign affairs said: “We once again say that the Islamic Emirate will not allow any armed oppositions in its territory to operate against other countries,” said the statement.
The statement called on all sides to refrain from such allegations lacking proof and documents, as such media allegations can lay negative impact on the bilateral relations of the two countries.
