Pakistan, OIC condemn suicide attack on religious scholars in Kabul

KABUL: Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a wedding hall in Kabul that has killed more than 40 people celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), a statement from the country’s embassy in Kabul said.
“Perpetrators are condemnable for this heinous attack by all religious and human standards. We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the statement added, saying they fully stand with and share the grief of the people of Afghanistan at this sad moment. 
“We also express our deep sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and pray for swift recovery of the injured,” the statement said.
According to another report,The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the Tuesday’s suicide attack on Miladun Nabi gathering in capital Kabul which 55 people were killed and 94 others injured, a statement from the organization said on Thursday.
OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen described the attack as heinous and brutal on a gathering of prayer and worship in Kabul, the statement said.
The Secretary General extended his condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan as well as to the families of the victims over this tragedy and prayed for speedy recovery to the injured.
