KABUL: As many as 2,106 Afghan refugees returned from Iran the other day, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MORR) said in a statement. “At least 2,106 Afghan refugees returned home, via Islam Qala ground port of the country’s western province of Herat,” the statement said, adding that about 200 of them have been introduced to the provincial Agency of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for receiving necessary assistance,” the statement said. Also, two days ago, over 50,000 Afghan refugees forcibly or voluntarily returned from Iran to the country, which significant ly, shows increasing the number of refugees who are returning to the country, the statement added. Meanwhile, a considerable number of Afghan refugees with their families have returned from Pakistan to the country. The Kabul Times
