Over 12,000 tons of goods entered Afghanistan through railway in a day: ARA

KABUL: Over 200 wagons of commercial goods have entered through Hairatan port to the country in the past one day, the Afghanistan Railway Authority (ARA) said in a statement the other day. “As many as 207 wagons of commercial goods with a total weight of 12,306 tons and a large portion of petroleum products have been imported to the country in the past one day,” the statement said. This comes as in the last months over 257,000 tons of commodities, including petroleum and non-petroleum products imported and exported through the country’s railways. The Kabul Times
