Over 1,000 families provided with assistance in Logar

KABUL: A total of 1,050 needy families have been provided with food assistance in the country’s central
province of Logar, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department said in a statement the other day.
Food assistance including 50 kilograms of flour, 10 liters of oil, six kilograms of pulses, and an amount of
children’s food, have been distributed among 1,050 families in Mohammad Agha and Baraki Barak districts of the province, the statement said, adding the assistance has been provided by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). Based on another report, for 800 disabled and family members of martyrs food items have been distributed with the financial support of a charitable organization in Khost province of the country.
