KABUL: National Security Advisor HamdullahMohib received a high-ranking delegation of Norway led by that country’s head of Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense Ms. Anniken Huitfeldt, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on different issues pertaining Afghan-led and owned peace process, security, fighting terrorism, holding consultative Loya Jirga, 3rd Kabul Process Meeting and joint cooperation, the agency further said.
Pointing at protection of the government and people of Afghanistan’s achievements made over the last years, NSA Mohib said our people wanted a lasting and honorable peace, adding we will consult with different segments including women and Afghan refugees in this regard.
He also appreciated Norway’s cooperation with Afghanistan.
Furthermore, the Norway delegation assured of that country’s continuedcooperation with Afghanistan in various fieldsparticularly Afghan-led and owned peace process.
