No aid agencies sustained harm in recent one year, Minister Muttaqi

KABUL: In a meeting with the Deputy Chief for Operations of the International Organization for Migration, Ugochi Daniels, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi said none of the international aid agencies have been harmed over the past one year, a statement from the ministry said Sunday.
The deputy chief of operation of the organization thanked the acting foreign minister of the Islamic Emirate for providing cooperation and work opportunities for them in the country, according to the statement.
She expressed pleasure over her first visit to Afghanistan and added that humanitarian and development activities and cooperation would further continue and strengthen in the country, the statement quoted.
“Political changes will not affect the process of their humanitarian activities in Afghanistan and they would undoubtedly keep the aids continue for the Afghans in the country,” she said as quoted by the statement.
The country’s acting foreign minister said that after the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, no Afghan has been forced to leave the country or a family to migrate or displace for opposing the government.
He also noted that no aid agency has been suffered harms over the last one year in the country.
According to him, no government authority has interfered in the affairs of the aid agencies, but moreover, provided facilities to them in the country over the last one year. The Kabul Times
