KABUL: The Deputy Publication Minister of Information and Culture, Hayatullah Muhajer Farahi, during an interview with Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA) said that the ministry has established necessary procedures for the activity of YouTube channels. During the interview, Farahi said:” Based on the procedure, the process of registering and distributing licenses for the YouTubers, has been started by the Ministry of Information and Culture and everyone, by receiving activity license can open their YouTube channels.” In order to bring regulations in the publication of YouTube channels and preventing the antiIslamic and cultural publications the ministry has established the procedure and no one will be allowed to open the YouTube channel without receiving the activity license, the deputy minister said. This is to be noted that, tens of individuals, mostly youths without receiving licenses, launched YouTube channels violating Islamic and ethical standards and promoting the imported commonplace cultures.
