National conference on Afghanistan tourism attractions held in Badakhshan

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, attended a three-day National Conference on Afghanistan Tourism Attractions has been held in the country’s northeastern province of Badakhshan, the Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA) reported Saturday. The conference was attended by several high-ranking IEA officials the acting minister of Higher Education Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, the acting Economy Minister Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, and a number of local officials and scholars, the TV said. The event was organized by Badakhshan University in close cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education to discuss the importance of the tourism industry and tourist attractions in the country, the TV further said. During the conference, nearly 40 scientific articles about the tourist industry and tourist attractions will be presented by university professors. The Kabul Times
