KABUL: The Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi leading a delegation left for Russia to attend Moscow Format meeting on Afghanistan, a statement from the ministry said Tuesday. The ministry’s Deputy Spokesman Hafiz Ahmad Zia wrote on his official twitter page that the delegation after two days in Moscow, will travel to Kazan city the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, where the Moscow Format meeting on Afghanistan is expected to be held on September 29. The upcoming meeting will discuss some important topics including current developments in Afghanistan, counterterrorism, drug-related crimes and post-conflict reconstruction. The Kabul Times
