KANDAHAR: Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir has been temporarily appointed as acting Prime Minister due to the illness of Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Islamic Emirate spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in his official twitter account on Wednesday. “Mullah Mohammad Hassan fell ill and is now in Kandahar for a health checkup and treatment for a short time and in order his affairs not to face suspension and delay, the dep uty Prime Minister for Political Affairs, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir is appointed as the acting prime minister,” Mujahid twitted. “There is no reason for the people’s concern and no one should try to launch propaganda as it is usual in governance,” Mujahid added. The statement, released by the Islamic Emirate spokesman, has been communicated to all government ministries and related agencies as well as to the media urging for the avoidance from any kinds of propaganda.
