KABUL: The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid had denied inaccurate the Amnesty International’s report about human right violation in Afghanistan.
“The Amnesty International report about the violation of human rights in Afghanistan is spiteful and full of discrimination and an empty propaganda,” said Mujahid.
According to him, what has been made in Afghanistan has not been out of law and that any country and system has its own special laws and different principles.
“Anyone enjoys their own rights in Afghanistan. Implementation of law is a need. All people are given their own rights under the Islamic Emirate’s laws and regulation,” the spokesman added. This is not fair for the Amnesty International to act based on the rumors of some certain circles who fled the country and have been behind scores of tragedies over the last 20 years in Afghanistan, said Mujahid adding spreading such rumors will affect this independent organization’s reputation. “The Islamic Emirate is committed to give all tribes of the country their rights. Now the security and identity of the people are ensured and their properties are protected and the people are living peacefully in the country,” the IEA spokesman assured.
Releasing such reports, according to Mujahid, will not disturb the public minds of the people of Afghanistan, as they are witnessing that their rights and security are ensured further than ever. The Kabul Times
