BAMYAN: During the past one year, over 108,000 domestic and foreign tourists visited Amir Dam and the country’s first national park, a local official of Bamyan confirmed.
Provincial director of information and culture Mawlavi Saifur Rahman Mohammadi said that the reason for the interaction of tourists in the province is the existence of national security, ancient natural attractions and the good treatment of local residents with tourists.
The security is fully ensured at the center and districts of the province and tourists can visit the entire province without any fears, he added.
The provincial directorate of information and culture monitors the sightseeing areas regularly in coordination with security forces to better ensuring the security of visitors.
With the cooperation of relevant organs were trying to improve services and provide facilities in ancient and scenic areas.
Earlier, Mawlavi Khairullah Khairkhwa, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, visited Bamyan to assess the situation in the province and to promote the culture of tourism across the country.
