More than 24 health centers being built in Bamyan

BAMYAN: The construction and repairing work on 24 health centers have been launched at a cost of 36 million Afghani in the country’s central province of Bamyan, a local official said Tuesday. Dr. Zafar the head of the provincial Public Health Department told media that the health facilities are established with the financial support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) at a cost of 36.5 million Afghani in the province. According to him, 12 more health facilities are being repaired and 12 new others were being built based on standard quality in the districts such as Shibar, Yakwlang, Panjab, Waras, Yakawlang as well as in the provincial capital.
