More development projects to be implemented next year, Deputy PM

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir during his visit to the country’s east ern province of Logar, said a number of development projects will be implemented across the country in the next year. The deputy PM Mawlavi Kabir made the remarks in a meeting with a number of scholars, youths and elders of Logar province, Arg said in a statement the other day. Praising the efforts and sacrifices of Logar’s people during the 20 years of Jihad, Mawlavi Kabir said many development projects will be implemented in some provinces, including Logar, in the coming year, according to the statement. Assuring any support to the Islamic Emirate, the elders said that Afghans don’t want war and instability in the country and they will also not allow any vicious group to act against the current system, the statement added. The scholar and elders shared problems and recommendations related to their province and asked the Islamic Emirate to pay necessary attention in implementing development projects in the fields of education, health and electricity, the statement further said.
